How to do overhead elbow stretch

  1. Set

    Sit or stand tall. Bend the working elbow above your head so its hand rests behind your neck. Rest the other palm on the upper elbow.

  2. 1

    Let the working elbow point upward and keep a light stretch along the back of the arm. Do not pull your neck.

  3. 2

    Keep the position comfortable. Breathe normally.

  4. 3

    Release the effort slowly. Keep the support in place.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.
