How to do alternating upward punches

  1. Set

Sit or stand tall with feet supported. Hold loose fists near your shoulders. Keep space above your head.

  2. 1

Reach your right fist upward with a soft elbow.

  3. 2

Bring the right fist back near its shoulder.

  4. 3

Reach your left fist upward. Keep your ribs relaxed.

  5. 4

Bring the left fist back. Continue alternating at an easy pace.

Take care. Reach only as high as comfortable. Keep a soft elbow, relaxed shoulders and an easy pace. Stop if you feel pain.
