How to do band outward ankle turns

  1. Set

Sit on the floor with the working heel supported. Secure a light band to a low door anchor on the inside of that foot.

  2. 1

Turn the sole outward against the band without turning your knee.

  3. 2

Use a small ankle movement. Keep the heel and thigh still.

  4. 3

Turn the forefoot slowly back to its starting position.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use a light, undamaged band. Check the anchor before you start. Stop if you feel pain or lose control.
