How to do hand-blocked upward foot press

  1. Set

    Sit in a stable chair. Keep the working heel on the floor. Rest the other palm lightly over the top of the working forefoot.

  2. 1

    Press the top of the working forefoot gently upward into the other palm. Keep the heel down.

  3. 2

    Hold the light pressure. Keep the ankle still and breathe normally.

  4. 3

    Ease the pressure. Keep the hand and heel in place.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use only light hand pressure. Keep the heel down. Do not force the ankle or curl the toes. Stop if you feel pain.
