How to do forward and back rock steps

  1. Set

    Stand with feet under your hips. Pick a working foot to step forward and back while the other foot stays in place.

  2. 1

    Step the working foot a little forward and rock some weight onto it.

  3. 2

    Rock back onto the other foot and bring the working foot beside it.

  4. 3

    Step the working foot a little back and rock some weight onto it.

  5. 4

    Return beside the other foot. Keep the rock steps small.

  6. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use short steps, soft knees and an easy pace. Keep the chest tall. Stop if you feel pain or lose balance.
