How to do supported index knuckle bend

  1. Set

    Sit or stand tall. Support the working hand with a straight wrist. Hold the palm just below the index knuckle with your other hand.

  2. 1

    Bend the index finger at its base knuckle. Keep the middle and tip joints straight.

  3. 2

    Hold a small bend. Keep the palm and wrist still.

  4. 3

    Straighten the index finger slowly.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use a small, comfortable movement. Do not force a joint. Stop if you feel pain.
