How to do supported index middle-joint bend

  1. Set

    Sit or stand tall. Keep the working wrist straight. Hold the index finger below its middle joint with your other hand.

  2. 1

    Bend the index finger at its middle joint. Keep the base knuckle still.

  3. 2

    Hold a gentle bend. Let the tip joint follow naturally.

  4. 3

    Straighten the index finger slowly.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use a small, comfortable movement. Do not force a joint. Stop if you feel pain.
