How to do thumb web stretch

  1. Set

    Sit or stand tall. Keep the working wrist straight. Place the other hand around the base of the thumb and index finger.

  2. 1

    Open the space between the thumb and index finger gently.

  3. 2

    Hold a light stretch at the thumb base. Keep the finger joints relaxed.

  4. 3

    Release the support and relax the thumb.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use a small, comfortable movement. Do not force a joint. Stop if you feel pain.
