How to do low side kicks
- Set
Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and loose fists near your chest. Leave clear space on both sides.
- 1
Lift the right knee a little outward. Keep it bent.
- 2
Open the right knee into a low side kick. Keep the foot below the other knee.
- 3
Bend the right knee and put the foot down under its hip.
- 4
Lift the left knee a little outward. Keep it bent.
- 5
Open the left knee into a low side kick. Keep the standing knee soft.
- 6
Bend the knee and put the foot down. Repeat gently.
Take care. Keep the kicks low and slow. Do not lock the knee or lean far sideways. Stop for pain or poor balance.
