How to do standing hip hinge

Stand with feet hip-width apart and knees soft. Put your hands on the fronts of your hips.

  2. 1

Send your hips back and tilt your long torso forward. Keep both heels down.

  3. 2

Pause in the small hip hinge. Keep your neck in line with your back.

  4. 3

Press through both feet and bring your hips forward to stand tall.

Take care. Keep your back long and use a small range. Bend at the hips and do not round the spine. Stop if you feel pain.
