How to do cross-behind steps

  1. Set

Stand with feet close together and arms relaxed. Clear space beside you.

  2. 1

Step your working foot out to the side.

  3. 2

Cross the other foot a small step behind it.

  4. 3

Uncross the back foot to its first place.

  5. 4

Bring your working foot back beside it.

  6. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Cross only a little behind. Keep toes and knees facing forward. Stop if you lose balance.
