How to do bent-knee calf stretch

  1. Set

    Stand facing a wall with both hands supported. Put the working foot a short step behind the other foot. Keep both heels down.

  2. 1

    Bend both knees a little. Keep the back heel down and the foot forward.

  3. 2

    Hold a light stretch low in the back calf.

  4. 3

    Straighten the knees slowly without lifting the heels.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.

Take care. Use a small, comfortable movement. Do not force a joint. Stop if you feel pain.
