How to do hand-blocked knee extension

  1. Set

    Sit on a stable chair. Bend the working knee. Rest both hands on the front of its lower shin, just above the ankle.

  2. 1

    Try gently to straighten the working knee against your hands. Keep the knee and shin still.

  3. 2

    Keep the position comfortable. Breathe normally.

  4. 3

    Release the effort slowly. Keep the support in place.

  5. Switch sides and repeat.
